Controller - Plant & Multi-Entity 

A globally recognized beverage group with a growing U.S. presence is seeking a Controller – Plant & Multi-Entity to lead accounting operations across two affiliated entities. This role is based at the company’s U.S. headquarters in Baltimore, with a hybrid work model, and offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial leadership, compliance, and operational support.
The Controller will oversee the full accounting cycle—from financial reporting and audits to budgeting and tax compliance—while also supporting operational decision-making through plant-level financial reporting and cost analysis. This position functions as a key financial link between U.S. leadership and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting across both entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close with full GAAP compliance.
• Manage tax filings and act as the primary point of contact for external audits.
• Support the VP of Operations by providing plant-level cost analysis, budget modeling, and financial insights to guide operational decisions. 
• Evaluate team performance and drive continuous process improvements.
• Identify financial and operational synergies across business units.
• Communicate regularly with international parent company to ensure aligned reporting and compliance.
• Oversee insurance programs and related financial responsibilities.
• Leverage JD Edwards and Microsoft Excel to generate reports, models, and financial insights.

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing or plant-based setting.
• CPA required (active and in good standing).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Background in public accounting or experience in a public company preferred.
• Proficiency in JD Edwards and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and multi-entity structures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with international collaboration.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.
